Crouse, Wilson Selected to Play In NFHCA Division II Senior Game

Lyn-Marie Wilson (Bridgetown, Barbados W.I.) have been chosen to participate in the 2014 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division II Senior Game on Friday, December 5 at the University of Louisville, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association on Wednesday.
Crouse and Wilson are two of 38 NCAA Division II student-athletes who will compete in Louisville, Ky. The pair own impressive careers, decorated with numerous accolades, a Northeast-10 Conference Championship and a postseason run to the NCAA Division II National Championship game.
Crouse has anchored the green and gold's back line for two years. She boasts NFHCA/Longstreth First Team All-America, ECAC Defensive Player of the Year, Synapse Sports First Team All-America, All-NE-10 First-Team and NCAA All-Tournament Team honors. In 2013, the Westville, South Africa native started in all 22 games and compiled 26 points on six goals and 14 assists, adding two defensive saves to her efforts. Through the 2014 mark, Crouse has tallied six goals and four assists, good for 16 points.
Wilson has accumulated many awards through her four-year rout in a Pioneer jersey. In 2011, the forward was tabbed as an All-PSAC East First-Team, WomensFieldHockey.com All-Rookie Team, and ECAC Rookie of the Year selection, while starting in 16 contests with four goals and five assists. Wilson, in 2012, started in all 17 games, scoring three goals and tallying four assists for 10 points. In 2013, the Bridgetown, Barbados W.I. native earned NFHCA/Longstreth All-America Second-Team, NCAA All-Tournament Team and NE-10 All-Championship Team honors, while scoring nine goals and assisting eight times, good for 26 points. Through the 2014 LIU Post campaign, Wilson has found the back of the cage three times, while adding eight assists and currently boasting the No. 2 assists per game average in the nation (0.89).
