Men's Soccer Hosts Weekend Clinic Out East
SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. (Aug. 12, 2013) - On Sunday, Head Coach Andreas Lindberg (Hampton Bays, N.Y.) and the LIU Post men's soccer team held a free clinic for the Southampton Soccer Club. Several members of the Pioneers gave up three hours of their time to work with local youth players.
Throughout the day, the kids competed in games, which went along with a juggling competition. The afternoon was capped off with a "World Cup Final".
Lindberg and his squad begin the 2013 campaign on Thursday, Sept. 5, when they host Concordia in a non-conference tilt in Brookville, N.Y. The opening kick is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
