Carberry Garners Daktronics All-American Third Team Honors
EDINBORO, Pa. (March 21, 2013) - LIU Post's Tobin Carberry (Hamden, Conn) has been selected to the 2012-13 Daktronics Men's Basketball All-American Third Team for his outstanding play during his senior season with the Pioneers.
Carberry was also named the East Coast Conference Player of the Year and Daktronics NCAA Division II Regional Player of the Year as the Pioneers ended the season with an 18-9 record. A 6'3” guard, he averaged 18.6 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game, while shooting just under 40 percent from behind the arc. It marked the second season that Carberry was a first-team All-ECC pick. He finished his three-year career at LIU Post with 1,244 points after playing one season at Southern Connecticut.
