BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 13, 2012) – The LIU Post women's tennis team dropped its match-up versus Roberts Wesleyan College, 9-0, at the Hempstead Lake Indoor Tennis Center.
Senior
Katie Avelar (Woodbury, N.J.) showed some life in her No. 2 singles match-up with Dina Obulchova, but she fell in straight sets to her opponent (6-2, 6-1).
Jovana Djurdjevic (New York, N.Y.) followed suit with Avelar, putting up a fight but eventually dropping her match as well (6-2, 6-1).
