Box Score BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 12, 2012) – The 17th-ranked LIU Post men's soccer team registered three first-half goals en route to a 3-0 blanking of Nyack College on Wednesday afternoon at the men's soccer field.

The Pioneers remain undefeated as they improve to 5-0, while Nyack evens at 2-2 overall.

Freshman Per Forgaard (Stavanger, Norway) gave the Pioneers an early lead in the 23rd minute of play.  The Pioneers were awarded a corner kick, an on Johan Wallin's (Sollentuna, Sweden) ensuing kick, a Nyack deflection knocked it right back to him and he sent another cross, this time finding Forgaard's head for the goal.

An Nyack own goal with seven minutes remaining in the half accounted for the second goal, and Forgaard again had a hand in the third as he assisted Eivind Ausboe (Stavanger, Norway) with a cross from the right flank that Austboe one-touched into the lower right corner.

The Warriors held a 14-8 shot advantage for the game, but the Pioneers kept Nyack off the board behind eight stops by Marco Jorgensen (Copenhagen, Denmark).
