No. 1 Men's Soccer Upends Bridgeport, 3-1
Box Score BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Oct. 6, 2012) – An early deficit didn't rattle the nation's top ranked team, as the LIU Post men's soccer team scored a late goal in the first half and another two the second half to earn a 3-1 win over the University of Bridgeport in a battle of the top two teams in the East coast Conference.
The Pioneers improve to 11-0 overall, matching the 11-game winning streak from 2012, and claim sole possession of first place in the ECC with a 6-0 record, while Bridgeport sees its seven game winning streak snapped as it drops to 7-5 and 5-1 in conference action.

The next home game for the Pioneers will be a matchup of regional powers as No. 1 LIU Post hosts No. 6 UMass-Lowell on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 3 p.m.
