Williams Named ECC Rookie Of The Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Jan. 23, 2012) – Freshman guard
Chelsea Williams (Copiague, N.Y.) of the C.W. Post women's basketball team was named this week's East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Williams averaged 9.0 points last week, shooting a combined 7 of 11 from field goal range. She poured in 11 points, shooting 4 of 6 from the field, including three triples. She added seven points and seven rebounds against District of Columbia.
