Field Hockey Tabbed Sixth In PSAC East
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (Aug. 22, 2011) – The C.W. Post field hockey team has been picked to finish sixth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Division for the upcoming 2011 season, the conference announced on Monday.
Bloomsburg received four first-place votes to lead the division, followed by West Chester and Kutztown, who each received one first-place vote.
On the west side, Shippensburg, who finished runner-up in last season's national championship against UMass Lowell, garnered all six first-place votes.
C.W. Post, who was 9-10 overall last season and 1-7 in the East Division, opens its season on Sept. 5 on the road at Merrimack College.
