She is a dedicated hard worker and will bring new ideas and fresh eyes to our program.”
Hurdle was the All-Met Division II Player of the Year her senior year at Adelphi University in 2006, will work primarily with the post players. She has been playing professionally overseas since graduation.
“Carly will make an impact on our staff right away,” says Moore. “Her dominating success in the NYCAC and ECC led to her long and prosperous professional career. Carly is extremely driven and motivated. I believe her passion for post play will assist our post players and help raise their individual play.”
Burkes is a 2009 graduate of C.W. Post and was a three-year member of the men's basketball team, including the 2008-09 Pioneer squad that captured both the ECC Championship and NCAA East title to advance to the Elite Eight Tournament. He will work primarily on defensive strategies and handle film exchange.
“Kenny is extremely loyal and trustworthy,” remarks Moore. “His success on the men's side is much respected and brings a strong mentality to the women's side. He is a hard worker and will contribute both on and off the court.”
