Aiken, Joyner Selected To All-Met Division II Teams

Janea Aiken (St.Albans, N.Y.) and sophomore guard
Felicia Joyner (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) of the C.W. Post women's basketball team were selected to the 2009-10 All-Met Team, as voted by the National Invitation Tournament and the Met Basketball Writers Association
Senior forward Kymira Woodberry of Molloy College was voted the Division II women's basketball Player of the Year. C.W. Post along with Nyack College had the most selections with two apiece.
Aiken, who was also named the ECAC and East Coast Conference Player of the Year, was an All-Met First Team selection after she led the Pioneers in scoring in eight of their last 10 games. Averaging 16.8 points per game this season, she is first on the ECC charts in scoring (481), fourth in field goal percentage (.453) and fifth in assists (115). She also registered double scoring figures on 26 occasions.
Joyner, who was a Second Team All-Met selection as well as a Second Team All-ECC selection, was second in scoring for the Pioneers and seventh in the conference. She averaged 12.8 points a game and shot .431 (134 of 311) from the field.
C.W. Post had an overall record of 20-9 and finished with a 14-7 mark in the conference.
