In the second half, the Pioneers knocked the deficit back down to single digits to start the half after a pair of free throws from freshman guard Kenyatta Sears (Hampton, Va.) and a jumper made by sophomore forward Nicolette Marciniak (Brooklyn, N.Y.).

The Falcons quickly boosted the lead back into double figures when Caira drove in for a layup at 18:37 and that was as close as the Pioneers would get.
