Aiken Named ECC Player Of The Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Nov. 15, 2010) – Senior guard Janea Aiken (St. Albans, N.Y.) is the first recipient of this season's East Coast Conference Player of the Week award, the conference announced on Monday.
Aiken averaged 26.5 points in two games against UMass Lowell and American International. In the victory over AIC, Aiken's two free throws with five seconds left put the Pioneers up by one in their victory over the Yellow Jackets. Aiken also led both games in scoring, pouring in 33 against
UML and adding 20 against AIC.
