Scott Lagas is in his third season as an assistant coach with the C.W. Post women’s basketball team. The Pioneers have posted a 35-24 record during Lagas’ two years as assistant coach.

He came to the Pioneers after garnering seven years of high school coaching experience - two at St. Agnes High School and five at St. Mary’s High School. 

Lagas has also coached championship teams at the CYO, AAU and Polica Athletic League levels, and over 40 of his AAU squads have gone on to play college basketball. 

He earned a degree from the University of Phoenix in exercise science, and holds certifi cations in the areas of nutrition, strength and conditioning, speed and agility for athletes, and post-rehab injury training.
